FAQ

The practical questions schools usually ask first.

Enough to know whether a pilot conversation is worth having.

Is Venus built for live teaching or lesson prep?

Live teaching. Venus listens while you're in front of the class and updates the board as you speak. You don't prep slides the night before. You just teach.

Who is Venus for first?

Primary school teachers in Victoria, Australia. That's where we're piloting. The product is built to expand across year levels, subjects, and countries, but we're starting focused.

Does Venus replace the teacher?

No. Venus is the board, not the teacher. You stay in front of the room, you lead the lesson, you decide where it goes. Venus handles what's on screen so you don't have to.

Can schools trial Venus before a wider rollout?

Yes. We run pilots in a single classroom. One teacher, one room, real lessons. No commitment beyond the pilot.

Does it need special hardware?

No. Venus runs on the screen you already have. A standard interactive board, a TV, or a projector. The teacher uses an AirPod or any wireless earpiece for the mic.

Is student data involved?

Venus processes the teacher's voice, not student data. No student names, no grades, no personal information touches the system. We're building toward full FERPA and Australian Privacy Act compliance before any school-wide rollout.

What happens if Venus gets it wrong during a lesson?

You stay in control. If Venus puts the wrong visual on screen, you can say "Venus, go back" or tap a manual control on your phone. The class sees a smooth transition, not an error.

How long does it take to set up?

Minutes. We connect Venus to your existing screen, pair the earpiece, and load a topic. There's no training course, no install process, no IT project.

What subjects does it cover?

We're starting with core primary subjects aligned to the Victorian curriculum. New topics and year levels are added every week. If you have a specific subject in mind, tell us in the pilot request and we'll prioritise it.
